All learning is social and emotional; therefore, a high-quality education should also integrate opportunities for social-emotional learning (SEL). I created these slides for my daily Community Meeting to discuss expectations, upcoming events, check in with students, and guide SEL instruction. During SEL instruction, students learned about self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and social awareness.
